Studio Team/Sales Associate

Overview
Play Society is Bend’s newest indoor play studio for kids 0-5, located at the Century Center on Bend’s west side. Our Montessori-inspired play studio features a mini kitchen & market area, infant area, climbing structure, cars & trains zone, and more! We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Studio Team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while ensuring smooth operations within the studio. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, contributing to an exceptional experience for every visitor.

Schedule and hours are flexible. We’re looking for part-time employees who are available a minimum of 6 hours/1 day per week, up to 18-20 hours/3 days per week.

Background check required.

*This is not a childcare position – parents/guardians are required to remain with their children for the entirety of their visit.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with check-in duties at front desk upon customer arrival (ticketing/admission, liability waiver completion)
• Provide information about pricing packages, private events & parties.
• Handle card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized play space environment, with periodic tidying up as customers cycle through the facility throughout the day.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Sales of prepackaged snacks and drinks from snack window at front desk.
• Assist with studio/storage management, including restocking beverage and snack merchandise display, and front desk organization.
• Answering phone at front desk.
• Weekend birthday parties & private events (duties include party set up, checking in guests upon arrival, and being available for assistance to guests and hosts as needed)

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Previous experience in a retail or service environment, and/or experience with young children and families.
• Must be able to handle a point of sales system accurately and responsibly.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
• Willingness to go the extra mile for an outstanding customer experience is a must.
