Pay: $19 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time (4-day work week) must be available at least one weekend day

Do you love working with your hands and bringing well-loved outdoor gear back to life? We’re looking for an experienced Sew Technician to join our repair-focused, sustainability-driven team. What You’ll Do:

 Advanced Gear Repair & Sewing

  • Perform high-quality, advanced sewing repairs on a variety of outdoor gear and technical fabrics.

  • Maintain efficient turnaround times while ensuring precision and durability.

  • Troubleshoot complex repairs and determine the best techniques for each item.

 Customer Service & Shop Support

  • Assist customers with repair inquiries, DIY project advice, and product recommendations.

  • Process register transactions for repair services and retail sales.

  • Answer phones and emails, handling customer inquiries or directing them as needed.

  • Clearly communicate service timelines, pricing, and repair options.

 Service Intake & Processing

  • Assess incoming items and determine appropriate repairs and pricing.

  • Log repairs, ensuring accurate customer and service details.

  • Label and track all service items through completion.

  • Follow up with customers regarding repairs, pricing, and shipping updates.

 Shop Operations & Team Involvement

  • Maintain shop machinery and tools in top working condition.

  • Participate in trainings, audits, and shop meetings.

  • Contribute to cleaning and organizing tasks to keep an efficient workspace.

  • Assist with after-hours clinics and community events as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  •  Advanced sewing skills with experience in gear repair, heavy fabrics, and technical outdoor materials.
  •  Ability to troubleshoot complex repairs and execute them with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Customer service experience and the ability to clearly explain repair services.
  •  Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused shop.
  •  Availability to work at least one weekend day.
