Around the Bend Farms is looking for a part-time intern to help with marketing and promoting their nonprofit farming and nutrition education organization. Around the Bend Farms (ATBF) is a nonprofit organization that designs, builds, installs, and manages small urban farms capable of improving access to and affordability of healthy locally grown produce in Bend, Oregon. They utilize a combination of cutting-edge and traditional growing techniques to maximize efficiency and growing seasons. They strive to inspire and connect the next generation of growers and consumers to a balanced urban food system.
This internship offers a dedicated student hands-on experience in digital outreach and marketing within the nonprofit sector. You will gain practical skills in content creation and promotional writing while building a portfolio of writing samples for future job applications. By the end of the internship, you will have developed social media management, content creation, and digital marketing expertise, and you will build a connection with a local Bend nonprofit that will support you in your future endeavors. The intern’s role will be filled by someone who has experience with digital content creation and social marketing.
Approximate weekly hours: 5-10
Paid Intern Position: $15/hour
