POSITION: PART TIME Back of house
COMPENSATION: competitive, based on experience /HOURLY + TIPS
JOB OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Part time position
– 3-4 shifts / week, morning shifts beginning approx. 5:30 am (shifts vary from 4-8 hours)
– Work scheduled shifts
– Possess knowledge and skill of cooking techniques
– Ability to learn and oversee food prep processes, identify any issues or areas for
potential improvement and communicate to management.
– Arriving to work with a sense of readiness and urgency to achieve the tasks of the day
and week.
– Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment; following all health and food
safety protocols.
– Monitor proper storage and shelf life guidelines for products.
– This job includes dishes. We are a small team and we all wash dishes.
– May include additional responsibilities as assigned by management in alignment with
the needs of the shop.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
– OHA Food Handlers Certificate required, OLCC is a plus but not required
– Efficient time management skills
– Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of shifts
– Ability to work with your hands (fine motor skills, strength, stamina)
– Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. (frequently) and 50 lbs. (occasionally)
All of the above should be sustainably performed without overtaxing your body.
– Excellent attention to details and ability to maintain quality standards
– Available for (and enjoys) early morning shifts
