CDL Yard Hostler

Overview

Eberhard’s Dairy is a family-owned business operating in Central Oregon for 75 years. We are seeking a motivated CDL Yard Hostler to join our team. This position is responsible for efficiently moving trucks within the yard and assisting the warehouse team with loading trucks and building pallets. ​

REQUIREMENTS:

• Class A CDL with manual endorsement

• Clean driving record

• Commercial driving experience preferred ​

JOB DUTIES:

1. Move trucks from parking areas to loading docks

2. Perform pre-trip and walk-around inspections, including safety, temperature, and tire checks

3. Assist warehouse team with track and loading functions when not moving trucks

4. Check fuel level on TK units ​

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be a team player

• Be available to work Monday through Friday, starting at 1:00 p.m.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening; we are a drug free workplace. ​

Employment Package/Salary:

This is a full-time position. Eberhard’s Dairy operates on holidays but is closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving Day. ​

COMPENSATION:

• Wage: $28/hour
