Parents Summer Guide

School is out, and that means us parents have many, many hours of educational fun to fill over the next 79 days (not that I’m counting or anything). If you’re worried that you might run out of ideas after the first week, then we’ve got your back. Here’s a handy dandy roundup of fun spots, camps, activities, and more taking place this summer to keep your groms entertained and you sane.

Summer camps

If you think you missed the boat on summer camps, think again! There are still plenty of open spots available all summer long in a variety of camps. While I can’t give you the details on every single camp opening, I can point you towards our handy summer camp guide that has most (maybe even all!) the camps happening around Bend this year.

Sweet play spots

Hit up one of these spots if you need to kill a couple of hours and let the little ones get their wiggles out.

Playgrounds + parks

Check out this list of Bend’s 70+ parks & playgrounds to see how many you can check off this summer. I’ve heard there’s a cool local scratch-off poster to help keep the little ones’ adventure stoke high.

Other fun stuff

From water parks to museums, these are some other great spots to keep the whole family entertained.
