Here’s what’s happening in Bend this upcoming weekend.

Friday 4.25

Bend bike fest: Get ready for a weekend celebrating all things bikes with the Bend Bike Fest at The Pavilion. Activities include repair clinics, the bike swap, vendors, and classes to improve your biking skills. Fri – Sun The Pavilion

Indigenous speaker series: This month’s indigenous speaker series at the High Desert Museum includes the short film Pathfinders, which explores how Natives are navigating the native and non-native worlds. 6:30 PM High Desert Museum

Wizard of Oz: Head to Mountain View High School for a performance of the Wizard of Oz by the MVHS theatre crew. Performances run Fri – Sun.

April comedy showcase: Bend Comedy presents the April comedy showcase at Immersion Brewing with co-headliners Ben Harkins and Mike Walter. 8 PM Immersion Brewing

Saturday 4.26

Bird walk at Indian Ford Meadow: Want to learn more about the birds that call Central Oregon home? Join the Deschutes Land Trust for a bird walk at Indian Ford Meadow Preserve outside of Sisters. The event is free, but registration is required. 8:30 – 11:30 AM Indian Ford Meadow Preserve

Earth Day fair: Celebrate Earth Day at the Environmental Center with the Earth Day fair. Wear a costume that showcases your favorite thing about the planet and browse the vendors, booths, and artists that will be on hand. 11 AM – 3 PM Environmental Center

Saturdays at Skyliners: Spring is here, and Saturdays at Skyliners are back. The day is filled with learning opportunities for the littles and family-friendly activities. 1 – 4 PM Skyliner Lodge

HUMP! Film fest: Dan Savage’s HUMP! Film Festival is bringing 23 new indie erotic short films to Volcanic Theatre Pub. 6:30 PM Volcanic Theatre Pub

Sunday 4.27

Bend foodie crawl: Become a foodie influencer, if only for a night, at the NeighborImpact foodie crawl. One ticket gets you food and beverage pairings at nine different restaurants. 2 – 4 PM Downtown Bend

Interactive Ukrainian folklore: Join ethnomusicologist and folk artist Inna Kovtun for an evening of Ukrainian music, stories, and tradition. 4 – 6 PM Café des Chutes

Walk ALS: Walk to help provide education, support groups, access to care, and advocacy for people impacted by ALS in the community. 12 PM Riverbend Park
