2026 Bend & Central Oregon CSA Guide

|

Derek Carlson

While growing season in Central Oregon is still a bit away, it won’t be long before the soil begins to warm and the first edible veggies begin popping up out of the ground on farms around the region.

While we love going to the farmers market every week we are all well aware that the timing of the market, especially the downtown Bend market, can make it tough for folks to purchase locally grown produce and meat each week.

Enter CSAs, or Community-Supported Agriculture. CSAs are a great way for you to get locally grown food all year long and support our farmers at the same time.

By purchasing a CSA you’re guaranteeing a local farm a guaranteed level of income that they can then use towards seed, labor, or the seemingly neverending list of other expenses that it takes to grow produce in this sometimes unforgiving desert environment.

How it works is each week your CSA farm harvests what is currently in season and packs up a box of fresh produce for you to pick up at a predetermined time and location.

If you’re ready to get started here is a list of CSA options around Bend and Central Oregon for 2026.

If you’re interested in meat or flower CSAs the High Desert Food & Farm Alliance has a big list of local offerings.
